I am what you would call the partially
informed citizen. I understand the gist of what is happening pertaining to my
country, but I do not make an effort to know the details of certain events that
occur. That’s what my brother is for, not I. That being said a lot of what this
article said was lost on me, so obviously I am not the primary audience. The
primary audience would be those who keep tabs on what is happening everywhere
and understand how it effects them, the secondary would probably be those
reading this article for an assignment to write a blog post most likely.
Although I did not understand the majority of the context that was highlighted in this article, the piece was well done to that fact that I knew the main point he was wishing to portray. This main argument is that revolutions for the sake of religious freedoms are justified and necessary. He points out how certain revolutions are instigated, such as financial collapse. He also is very clear of how certain revolutions play out. In the end he makes sure to say “We must hold up the increasing counterintuitive banner of religious freedom.” While other causes are out there one of the few that work the best is the revolutions for religious freedoms.
